# What a merchant can show when an agent purchase is disputed

A shopper says "I didn't buy this", but their AI agent did. Tick the evidence the payment record carries and see how complete the merchant's dispute file is. Illustration only: mock data, not any card scheme's rules.

This is the text version of an interactive demo. The interactive version runs in your browser on mock data: [https://alexdewison.com/labs/agent-dispute-evidence/](https://alexdewison.com/labs/agent-dispute-evidence/)

## Dispute reasons

- "I didn't authorise it"
- "Not what I asked for"
- "Never arrived"

## Evidence on the payment record

Tick the evidence the payment record carries for the agent purchase, such as agent identity, the shopper's mandate and delivery proof.

## Dispute file

The demo shows how complete the dispute file looks for each of the three dispute reasons.

The point: when agent identity, the shopper's mandate and fulfilment proof travel with the payment, an agent dispute can be answered like any other dispute.
